A painting by the artist Rob Grams. The original picture was painted with oil on canvas (72 x 54 cm.), in 2017.
Inspired by an exhibit on german expressionism, I put my own spin on the works of this art movement.
In a lot of my earlier work, I liked to explore the idea of anonimity, often hiding the face as I did in this piece. For me, the collarbones and neck are some of the most sensual parts of the female form. This piece oozes sensuality without explicity being sexual, or sexualizing the subject.
