Loud Cars and Psychopathy, Sodium Batteries Charge in Seconds, Alzheimer’s Stress Link
In the first part of today’s show, we delved into an Ontario study suggesting that fans of loud cars are typically young, male, and may score high on psychopathy and sadism metrics. Then, we discussed a breakthrough by researchers who developed a sodium battery capable of rapid charging in just a few seconds. Finally, we explored a study revealing that stressful life events during childhood and midlife could increase the risk of developing Alzheimer’s.
Today’s unpopular opinion was that junk food should be taxed like cigarettes.
In the second half of the show, we asked 100 humans to name a kind of junk food. Later, we learned about Metallica’s James Hetfield using Lemmy Kilmister’s ashes in his Motorhead tattoo.
