In the first part of today’s show, we delved into the news about the U.S. destroying the last of its once-vast chemical weapons arsenal. Afterward, we dove into some fascinating research indicating that one night of total sleep deprivation has been shown to have an antidepressant effect for some people. To wrap up the first part, we scrutinized Meta’s Threads app, a potential privacy nightmare that won’t launch in the EU yet due and Twitter’s threats of lawsuit.

Today’s unpopular opinion was quite the debate starter: “Adblockers are unethical.”

In the second half of the show, we had a fun segment where we asked 100 humans “Besides alcohol, tobacco, or other drugs, name something that people get addicted to.” Following that, we highlighted a rather bizarre incident where a mugger demanded $100 from an Indianapolis woman at gunpoint and then asked her to “add him as a friend on Facebook.”
