In the first part of today’s show, we looked at how people are fighting back against annoying calls, hiring phone bots to torture telemarketers. We then shifted gears to discuss YouTube’s potential testing of a three-strikes policy for ad blocking, stirring controversy among its users. Lastly, we uncovered an exciting development in the world of medicine; for the first time, an AI-designed drug is being tested in humans, making us question if it will actually work.
Today’s unpopular opinion was “Breakfast is not the most important meal of the day,” a topic that surely had our audience divided.
In the second half of the show, we asked 100 humans to “Name a profession where you’d have to smile a lot.” The answers were as varied as they were entertaining. We also took a fascinating look at a piece of news that’s sure to raise eyebrows – a microscopic handbag “smaller than a grain of salt” was sold for a whopping $63,750 (£50,569) at auction.
