In the first part of today’s show, we looked at the startling decision of Florida’s new book ban law, which has shockingly put the works of Shakespeare in the crosshairs, leading many to exclaim, “Just absurd!” Next, we delved into the emergence of the new Covid-19 variant, EG.5.1 or ‘Eris’, which is currently under close monitoring by the World Health Organization. And for some surprisingly positive news, Dutch researchers reveal there’s less plastic in our oceans than previously assumed.
Today’s unpopular opinion was “Giving up is equally as valuable an action as perseverance.”
In the second half of the show, we asked 100 humans “Besides Tomatoes, Name Something You Sometimes Find In Spaghetti Sauce.” Elon Musk also made headlines by proclaiming he’ll foot the legal bills for users if they’re treated unfairly by their bosses. Lastly, a jaw-dropping revelation from Scotland; they’ve cut down 16 million trees in a bid to pave the way for ‘green’ wind energy farms.
