In the first part of today’s show, we looked at the shocking decision by Gizmodo to fire its Spanish staff, making way for an AI translator with the headline “AI took my job, literally”. We then delved into the findings of Mozilla’s “Privacy Not Included” project, revealing that internet-connected cars from every major brand fail to meet essential data privacy and security standards. Lastly, we examined the surprising plummet in Airbnb bookings in New York due to the introduction of new short-stay rules.

Today’s unpopular opinion was that working on having neat handwriting is a complete waste of time.

In the second half of the show, we asked 100 humans to name something a person might worry about when speaking in front of a large group. In other curious news, a woman named ‘Barbie Oppenheimer’ shared her unique problem of struggling to check into hotels, and in a fun twist, we heard about a dog that ran away from home only to sneak into a Metallica concert at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood.
