In the first part of today’s show, we looked at the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) accusing Facebook of not complying with a 2020 privacy order, alleging that it continued to give app developers access to users’ private information and misled parents about its Messenger Kids product. Then we talked about Google employees complaining about CEO Sundar Pichai’s pay raise as cost cuts hit the rest of the company. Finally, we discovered a new drug that can reduce Alzheimer’s disease symptoms by up to 35%.
Today’s unpopular opinion was “Non-gendered sports leagues should be the only thing that exists.”
In the second half of the show, we asked 100 humans to name something they associate with fairy tales. Later we saw Arthur Conan Doyle’s Estate suing Netflix after Enola Holmes’ Henry Cavill portrayed Sherlock Holmes as “too caring and empathetic,” and a man who was hurt in an accidental shooting after being mistaken for a turkey.
