In the first part of today’s show, we looked at how German businesses are pivoting to robots as baby boomers begin to retire. Then we discuss billionaire investor Bill Ackman’s plea to Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk to refrain from propagating hate for monetary gains, claiming “Humanity is on a rapid path to oblivion.” Finally, we delved into how the co-founder of Google Brain believes Big Tech companies are exaggerating the fears of AI’s potential dangers in a bid to dominate the market.

Today’s unpopular opinion was “It’s time to bring back intermissions in the cinema.”

In the second half of the show, we asked 100 humans to name the most annoying things they encounter at the cinema. Later, we turned our attention to a peculiar trend in a New Zealand city where locals are being kept awake by blaring Céline Dion ballads at 2 a.m. and discussed recent findings that suggest AI learns in a manner reminiscent of pigeons.
